Brickworks in business rescue can help build your portfolio

● Park Village Auctions (PVA) is inviting offers to buy assets of clay brick manufacturing company Kopano Brickworks, which is in business rescue.

The assets include the entire contents of the North West-based brickyard, land and improvements.

Kopano Brickworks’s Stilfontein operation, at portion 2 of the Hartebeesfontein Farm, produces about 62-million bricks a year.

It comprises a large, industrial-zoned farm portion housing a brickyard with clay quarry and residential dwellings and measures 615.81ha.

Highlighted movables include stock of more than 1-million face bricks; a Scania diesel generator; a TVA Kiln; and multipleinclined, double-inclined, drop-off and horizontal conveyors.

The remaining movables include a Jeffrey crusher, an Osborn 4x1 OD/D, an IMSV Mill, vibrating screens, extruders and moulds, among many others. A Tennant 800 sweeper and Tennant 800 feeders; a Linde H40D and H25D; Massey Ferguson 290, 415 and 85s tractors; forklifts; Komatsu wheel loaders and TLBs; skip trailers; Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, a Toyota Yaris, a Mazda 5 and an Isuzu Fleetsize DMax LDV are among the many vehicles offered.

Offers may be made for the movables or fixed property alone or combined. Interested parties must submit their offers to PVA in writing before noon on February 10.
