● Technology company Altron has appointed James Hickman as sales director: digital transformation.

He has an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has completed the management advancement programme at Wits Business School.

Hickman was formerly executive head of sales, solutioning, marketing and partnerships at Altron Karabina. Before that he was MD at Qlik and has also held various positions at Microsoft South Africa.

Entsika Consulting has appointed chartered accountant Pule Mothibe as CEO.

He joins from PwC, where he was a director in its assurance division and previously its assurance and human capital leader for Southern Africa. He chaired the audit committee of the Gauteng Gambling Board and served on the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors and its operations committee.

He has a BCom degree and a postgraduate diploma in accounting.

Artie Jina has been promoted to director of parts supply and logistics at Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa.

She joined the company in July 2012 in the parts supply and logistics division and was later appointed manager of the division.

“I have always loved working in logistics but at Ford I learnt that the logistics environment means operating within organised chaos, being flexible and adaptable, and continuously disrupting yourself, your team and your service providers to get the best outcome for the business. I am excited to be taking the skills I have learnt to the customer service division as the director of parts supply and logistics,” said Jina.
