Postponitis outbreak

The president has earned a number of nicknames, from McBuffalo to Buffalo Soldier and, of course, Ramapostponer. This week he showed why he earned the latter.

First he put off a state visit by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, scheduled for next week. Moving swiftly, he postponed his Q&A with MPs in the timid NCOP.

Inspired by his boss, Buffalo spokesperson Vincent Magwenya postponed a Thursday morning press conference before canning the 8pm Ramafamily dinner meeting moments later.

An ANC national executive committee meeting, scheduled for 7pm on Thursday was moved to 2pm on Friday. When the moment arrived, the ANC gathering didn’t last an hour as, you guessed it, it was postponed to

Saturday before being moved to today. How’s that for living up to your name!
