Suspension challenged

Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority CEO Mamodupi Mohlala is challenging her suspension at the CCMA after losing her high court application to have it heard as an urgent matter. She describes the nature of the dispute as “unfair labour practice”. In her CCMA application she said she was placed on precautionary suspension “allegedly in order to investigate irregular appointments and failure to contribute to the pension fund by five other staff members. Both forms of conduct are both unfair and not perpetrated by me personally. Therefore the suspension is both procedurally and substantively incorrect.”
